We'd love to hear from you!

I remember going on a trip once where we had to make a raft out of barrels and wood then go down a river. Of course it ended up with us getting wet and Mr Larkham “commended” me on my interesting use of the English language!

Best PJ Larkham memory for me was his forfeit (circa 1994?): There was a shave-athon on, and he declined to shave the ‘tache. As an avid London bus nut from childhood, he had amassed London bus paraphernalia including a conductor’s ticket machine and uniform. He wore both to perform Flanders and Swann’s “A Transport of Delight” (aka London Omnibus) song – which he sang very well.
“Hold very tight please, ting, ting…” Brilliant Stuff.
(And also he prevented me from flunking my A level Chemistry, for which I’m forever grateful).

Mr Larkham best Chemistry teacher ever – never forget his end of term pranks and reading Winnie the Pooh!

Ian Watts

{Richard Mackenney (Phillips ’71)} I remember him well. On the one occasion I came back for Sports Day (back in the 90s) the programme showed that a record he had set was still unbroken!

I still remember my first day and that was in ’71.
